About This Course

In this 8-week course, students will build confidence in their voice while developing skills in singing, songwriting, and recording. By exploring genres like rock, pop, and R&B and breaking down music they love, aspiring singer-songwriters will learn essential vocal techniques and approachable ways to write songs, allowing them to express themselves with creativity and freedom.

Whether you want to grow as a vocalist and improve your range, or translate your emotions or experiences into lyrics, this course will be a launchpad for your creative journey!

  • Develop deeper artistic self-awareness

Individual Projects

  • Write original songs independently or in groups

Sam Gamper

Voice & Songwriting Instructor

Sam “Sajoga” Gamper is a songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Toronto with more than a decade of experience making music. Wearing many hats on his own artist journey, he has developed both the technical expertise and artistic freedom necessary to produce high quality work and have fun doing it. His approach emphasizes the “play” that is inherent in making art – focusing on curiosity and self-expression above all else.
