About This Course
Artist Development is designed for aspiring musicians who want to take their songwriting and music production skills to the next level. Students work on original projects while developing the creative and technical skills needed to write, record, produce, and perform their own music. Through hands-on studio sessions, students explore songwriting, vocal production, arrangement, recording techniques, and music production workflows while building confidence in their unique artistic style.

This program is ideal for teens and young adults who are passionate about creating original music and want to develop their skills as artists. It’s a great fit for students interested in songwriting, singing, music production, recording, or performance who are ready to move beyond the basics and start creating more polished, personal projects.

Prerequisites
This course is designed for emerging songwriters and artists who are ready to develop their craft more seriously. No formal training is required, but students should have an interest in songwriting, music creation, or performing, and be open to collaboration, feedback, and creative exploration.

- A notebook or device for writing and capturing ideas
- Any instrument you already use (optional but encouraged)
- A laptop or phone for recording demos or voice notes (if available)
- Any existing ideas, including songs, lyrics, melodies, or concepts you’ve started

- Refine your sonic direction and artistic identity
