What does a music producer actually do?
A music producer writes, arranges, and mixes recorded music. They select instruments, shape sounds, and make every creative decision that turns a rough idea into a finished track. In our classes, students work hands-on with DAWS like Ableton Live and Logic Pro, learning the same workflows used in professional studios. No instrument experience needed for our music production classes — just curiosity and a love for music.

Audio Production Basics
Step into a real recording studio and learn the basics of music production. Kids ages 6+ will record vocals, experiment with beatmaking, and learn how to edit and shape their sound. By the end of the program, they’ll have created their own project and understand how music comes together behind the scenes.

Samples, Loops & Beats
A next-step music production course for students ready to go deeper into beatmaking. Using Ableton, students will create samples, build loops, and develop full beats across genres like hip-hop, trap, and R&B. With a focus on creative decision-making and emotion in music, they’ll move beyond basics and start shaping their own sound.
